Healthy crackers can be kind of pricey nowadays. These seed crackers are so easy to make, healthy and delicious! It makes a big batch too, so will last for a while.
Different seeds carry different nutritional benefits, so this recipe gives a nice variety. These crackers are loaded with calcium, folate, magnesium, iron and fibre.
Mix together in a blender the following:
70 grams flaxseeds
60 grams sunflower seeds
60 grams sesame seeds
50 grams chia seeds
50 pumpkin seeds
20 grams extra virgin olive oil
1/2 ts salt
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
300 grams water
Line two baking trays with baking paper and spread mixture evenly and thinly across. Bake for an hour on 160 or until crispy and they allow to cool before breaking into pieces. These are great for dipping or serving to guests with some feta and chutney!
